Combining fine silks, rich velvets and precious gems, Vulva Puppets are infused with potpourri, signed and dated. Dorrie gives them names from Goddess lores, Fairy tales or Femmes of literature depending on who they inspire. Take her story with you, or create your own.
Note from the artist: Wondrous Vulva Puppets are hand made, I make each one a little different. When you order a puppet that has already been sold, I'll make every effort to create one similar. Since the fabrics are sometimes no longer available, I'll communicate with you the possibilities by email. If you would like a custom-made puppet, or have any other special request, please let us know.

"EGUSKI" EGUSKI is the Goddess of the Dawn in Basque traditions. She is the daughter of the earth. She teaches us to embrace feminine energies of beauty, warmth and hospitality. Eguski is made from deep, rich purple velvet, with warm pink satin and Swiss embroidered silk. She is adorned with black Andradite Garnet and gold ceramic seed beads. | "NISABA" Nisaba is a Sumerian Goddess. Her name means "she who teaches the "decrees". The first lawyer! She was also credited with inventing literacy. Nisaba is made from a stamped leapard pattern Velvet with copper & gold Italian silk satin. She is adorned with Amber faceted beads and black jet glass beads. "HINA" Hina is a Tahitian Goddess and is credited with creating coconuts from the body of her lover. She is also their warrior Goddess. Hina is made from a luxe stretch French velvet. Her inner labia is golden and copper silk satin. She is adorned with Amber crystal beads and copper barrel beads. You may order a puppet similar to this one.

| "AME
no UZUME" Ame no Uzume is a Japanese ancestral Goddess, where Shinto festivals in her honor include dances to invoke longevity, honor, protection and family unity. Ame no Uzume is made from an antique, one of a kind, kimono circa 1900. This fabric is made by a Master! Pure silk, it is blue indigo dye and the fabric is infused with gold and silver, the reds are stunning. I can only make 6 puppets from this incredible fabric. She is adorned with grey fresh water Pearls and Japanese seed beads. You may order a puppet similar to this one.

"HUTU" HUTU, aka "Empress Earth" from China. She is symbolic of Spring and fertility. Hutu is made of rich, red velvet, and pink and gold silk satin. Her adornment consist of Rose Quartz beads and red seed beads. You may order a puppet similar to this one.

| "FUJI" Fuji is the mother Goddess of Japan. All life comes from her. Mount Fujiyama is named in her honor. Fufi is made from an antique, one of a kind, kimono circa 1900. This fabric is made by a Master! Pure silk, it is blue indigo dye and the fabric is infused with gold and silver, the reds are stunning. I can only make 6 puppets from this incredible fabric. The entire puppet is made from different parts of the Kimono. Adornment is from seed beads from Japan. You may order a puppet similar to this one.
