Womansong - Goddess chants and songs
A classic album of chants and goddess and woman-inspired songs by the Voices of gaia. Womansong has been used in circles, rituals, gatherings and healing women's work all over the world.
Womansong was recorded in live to digital in September 1992. Nineteen woman in all, we created a sacred space, setting up our altar with flowers, crystals in the centre of our large circle. Then we toned and opened our circle and our hearts and mouths to sing as one. By the end of the day we were dancing naked around the room freely vocalising the joy of our creation!!
Womansong captures that unique energy as we expressed our love of life and the goddess through our song.
